At times in life, mustering the strength to love, forgive, persevere, overcome, communicate clearly and compassionately, or work toward healing can seem impossible. In these times, we need a space to step out of life as usual, talk about what life is doing to our minds, hearts, and relationships, and determine what steps might be taken to bring about more peace, healing, victory, connection, and well-being. David is passionate about providing that space, free of judgement and full of focused attention, understanding, and compassion.
David’s approach is trauma informed, and influenced by Family Systems Theory, Attachment Science, Emotion Focused Couples Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
David helps clients to experience better relationships. He works with individuals, marriages, parents, and teenagers to identify what is keeping them from the peace and connection, or the boundaries and structure that could make life better.

Success in educating students, however success may be defined, is dependent on the quality of relationships that are cultivated between all of those involved in making a school run. The complex relationship matrix between teachers, administrators, support staff, parents, volunteers, coaches, and students establishes a school’s culture, which is the foundation for any type of success for any given school.
Modern school problems are not responding well to old problem solving methods. Teachers are quitting at alarming rates, and students and their families are experiencing a new breed of social, emotional, and psychological challenges. When these challenges go unaddressed, schools are unable to meaningfully educate students.
